Special Workshop By Mr.Vipula Chandrasiri

A workshop in sports to develop a sound mind in sound body “mens sana in corpore sano” was conducted by Mr.Vipula Chnandrasiri an eminent old boy of Joseph Vaz College who excelled in javelin throw and maintained the National Record for javelin for 20 years consecutively.

The participants (present students who engage in different games) of this workshop were exposed to latest strategies of developing skills in variety of sports. They not only benefited from all the activities presented by the veteran javelin thrower but also sheared a unique experience of developing a personality merging cognitive and psychomotor skills on a disciplined spiritual platform.
